Topical numbing cream is used throughout brow and lip procedures to maximize comfort.
The Powder Brow procedure is very gentle on the skin and most clients find it to be relaxing and pain-free. On a scale of 1- 10, most brow clients report a discomfort level of 1 - 2.
The Lip Blush procedure can be a little more sensitive with clients reporting a discomfort level of 2 - 4. The lip blush procedure tends to be more sensitive for clients who have a history of cold sores/fever blisters.
Please do not take any blood thinning medications such as Advil or Ibuprofen prior to your procedure.

Brow and Lip procedures can last up to 3+ years. The longevity of your results varies based on your skin type, lifestyle, and following the aftercare instructions. Permanent makeup is "low maintenance" but not "no maintenance." Touch ups are recommended between 1-3 years to maintain desired color, shape, and fullness. To maintain the most natural looking results, I want to see you back for your touch up when your work has faded by at least 30%.
Dry skin tends to hold pigment longer than oily skin.
Heavy exfoliating, chemical peels and anti-aging cleansers/creams will cause the pigment to fade quicker over time.
Sun exposure will fade your work. Protecting your permanent makeup from the sun and wearing SPF on the treated areas will keep your work looking fresh and make your results last longer.

When someone has light blonde, gray, or white brow hair- the color tone that typically looks best is blonde, taupe, or soft ashy brown. While the permanent makeup color may be darker than your actual brow hair, this is usually the color you would choose when applying brow makeup. An easy way to get your brow hair and permanent makeup color to match is by using a brow gel (tinted mascara for brows) or having your hair stylist dye your brow hair. I recommend using a brow gel and have them for sale at the studio. We can always try it on at your appointment and decide if that’s something you’re interested in!

It takes 7-10 days for brows to fully heal. Immediately after the procedure, brows will appear darker than normal and may have a warm color tone. On days 2-4 brows will be dark & bold. Around day 5-7 the top layer of skin in the brow area will begin to slough off in small flakes. It takes a day or two for all of the flakes to fall off. When the flakes have fallen off your brows are healed and color will appear soft and light. Color returns and deepens over the next week. Healing for the touch up appointment follows this same process. Please plan your appointments around any special events.

t takes about 4 - 5 days for lips to fully heal. Immediately after the procedure your lips will appear bright & swollen. Swelling decreases within 1-2 hours. Day 2 your lips will appear dark and bold in color. Day 3 - 4, lips will appear chapped as the top layer of skin on your lips sloughs off. Day 4-5 lip color will appear light & soft. Pigment will return to the lips over the next week leaving a light and balanced "lip tint" effect. Lip colors can be customized based on clients wishes and overall results are designed to give a "lip tint" appearance not a "lip stick" look. Please plan your appointments around any special events.
-
On the day of your appointment we discuss all aspects of the healing process and aftercare instructions. You will go home with an aftercare kit that includes everything you need to care for your new permanent makeup. During the healing process you will want to keep your permanent makeup clean, dry, and out of the sun. You should not go swimming, sweat heavily, or take hot steamy showers until your work is healed. Please review the healing process and plan your appointments around any special events.

Custom color mixes are created for each client based on your skin tone, natural brow hair color/natural lip color, and overall goal. Information such as your “go-to” brow makeup color and lipstick/lipgloss color help guide decisions on unique color mixes to achieve your goal.

Yes or no, either way- it’s okay! l really like to see how you fill in your brows on a daily basis so arriving with your makeup on is helpful. We will be taking before and after photos and some clients prefer to have a little makeup on for these pictures. Please be aware that any foundation or powders on the area being treated will be wiped clean during the procedure. You may want to bring your makeup bag along to touch up the makeup that got wiped off if you plan to go somewhere after your appointment.

At your Initial appointment we focus on improving shape and adding color conservatively. We can always add more color later but we cannot take it away - I like to be conservative on the initial session and not “overdo it.”
On the day of your appointment we will book your Touch Up appointment for 6-10 weeks later.
At your Touch Up appointment we will focus on adding additional color to achieve your desired goal.
